Robbery Suspect Arrested

On January 1, 2020,  our communications center received and call at 8:35 am, in reference to a Robbery at the Internet Café located at 1453 Armory Drive in the City of Franklin, Virginia. Upon units arriving on scene they came in contact with Tierra Ricks, who was intoxicated and was taken into custody.  

An investigation revealed that a Tierra Ricks was in the business for a while and went to cash out her winnings. She grabbed the tip jar and was stopped by security personnel at the business. She began to struggle with the security and assaulted both security guards before being taken into custody by the officers arriving on scene. Neither security guards required medical attention.

Tierra Ricks 31, from Franklin , was charged with Robbery, Two counts of assault & battery and public intoxication. She was transported to WTRJ with no bond.
